I recently came across an article that double vanities, and large Bathroom cabinets can be space saves as well as reduce  clutter. I tend to disagree. Although big vanities CAN reduce clutter, however, the size of double vanities or large vanities can use a lot of space and dwarf the bathroom. So, the size of the bathroom as well as how the bathroom is laid out is very important in this case.

I do agree that using separate  medicine cabinet does improve space. However, if you are a bathroom style freak like me, it can also look tacky! After all, you can tell a lot about a person from their bathroom. Even Oprah says that.

Okay – Double vanity and  medicine cabinet can add storage space. However, when you add more storage places, it only adds MORE and clutters.

Remember less is more. A double bathroom vanity for a medium size bathroom  will reduce visible clutter, as long as it has enough storage and is multi functional.
